Personal Blurb:
I have lived in the local area for the last 37 years and attended Althorpe and Keadby Primary when I was young.
I served an apprenticeship as a fabricator and worked in the Steel industry for 20 years before moving into construction. I am currently a Training manager where I assist our apprentices in their training, and prepare them for their future careers.
My main motivation for being a school governor within the community is my belief that access to good quality education should be based on our children's potential, not their background. All children, regardless of means, should be able to gain the best quality education possible. It is my desire to assist Althorpe and Keadby Primary School in not only continuing their fantastic efforts in giving all pupils as many opportunities as possible, but also creating a safe, inclusive environment for all.
