At Althorpe and Keadby we enjoy working with our parents to ensure that we support our children together, giving them the best possible start in life both in school and out.
When asked at one of our frequent parent meetings, parents have told us that they agree wholeheartedly with the school's vision and intent. They too want their children to be happy and have the best possible life chances whether this be;
- To travel
- Have a long education and have vocational choices
- To be healthy
- To have good jobs and feel successful.
Parents and Guardians are able to catch Mrs Tate, Mrs Layton or Mrs Sorbie each morning before school on the playground, car park or side path for a quick question or a catch up.
If you wish to speak to your child's class teacher, this is best done via See Saw, or by popping in before school in a morning before school between 8.10am and 8.20am, as the teachers run clubs and attend meetings after school.
For longer conversations or to make an appointment please contact Mrs Tate or the school office on the contact details above.
Parents Meetings
Parents Meetings are a vital part of our communication at Althorpe and Keadby.
Parent Meetings are held termly where pupils, parents and teaching staff share achievements and areas for development. Workshops, led by class teachers and the Headteacher, keep parents abreast with curriculum changes and ways in which they can support their child.
